Skoglund, “Andy” passed away on October 22, 2003 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 80 years. Andy was a WWII Veteran and served with the 116th Field Battery as a Gunner with the R.C.A. He was predeceased by daughter Holly in 1972 and son Rodney 1993. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine, 3 brothers Marcel (Barb) of Kamloops, B.C., Maurice (Evelyn) of Sorrento, B.C., David (Dorothy) of Kamloops, B.C. Also survived by grandson Shane, 1 greatgrandson Taylor, 1 greatgranddaughter Breeze, daughter-in-law Lynne Phelan of Vernon, B.C. 2 brothers-in-law Robert (Mary) Boehler of Edmonton, AB, Jack (Nell) Boehler of Vancouver, Wash., and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Lumby, B.C. on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Allan Dawe officiating. Inurnment to follow in Lumby Cemetery. Tea to follow the service at the Lumby Legion. Donations in memory of Andy to charity of choice gratefully accepted. Arrangements entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME 542-0155.
