Angela Mary "Angie" Kitcher

February 11, 1939 - August 15, 2019
Our much loved sister, aunt, great aunt and great great aunt passed away peacefully at
Hospice House on August 15, 2019. Angie, as she loved to be called was born in England on February 11, 1939, the second of four daughters.
She emigrated to Canada with the family in 1951. Lumby was the first home then Coldstream. Angie went to work at the Royal Bank in Vernon and Victoria after graduation. She came back to Vernon and worked for Home Support until her retirement.
Angie's great love was genealogy. She had traced her family tree back 300 years and did the same for other friends. Angie is survived by her sisters Lilian and Bronwyn (Rick),
nieces Stella (Gerry), Sandi and Sonea (Al), her great nieces Rhiannon and Erin (Joe) and great nephews Myles (Katrina and Carter & Caleb), Jason (Isabella, Vegard) and Michael. There will be no service at her request.
A Memorial Tea will be held September 7th, 2-4 pm at 8104 Whetzell Drive for family friends and neighbours. Memorial donations to Vernon SPCA or Canuck Place. Thanks to all the staff at 2 East for your care.
