Anita Anderson passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Vernon Hospice House on January 3rd 2006.
Anita is survived by her parents Don and Arlene Osborne, children Janine (Colin) and Evan (Bev) Morris, sister Kathy Osborne, nieces Stacy and Sarah Brind, nephew Wade Brind, best friends Nancy, Sherry and Linda (Swat), partner Paddy, and a long list of friends and associates who surrounded and supported her every step of the way.
Anita was born in Chilliwack B.C. on November 4th, 1956. She later settled in Vernon where she built a life for herself and her children. Anita will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched for her bright sense of humor, her ability to never leave a goal unachieved, and her courageous battle with cancer.
An open Celebration of Life will be held in Anita’s honor on Monday, January 9th at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity United Church, 3300 Alexis Park, Vernon, with reception to follow.
