It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Elizabeth Miks of Lumby BC. Ann passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer, with her husband by her side. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a wonderful, outgoing, loving person, who had a thirst for life, and all things beautiful. She was a great wife and an amazing mother. Ann is survived by her loving husband Willi, daughter Natasha (Matt), son Sean, granddaughter Brooklyn Jade, her siblings Darlene and Glyn, and their families. She will be also sadly missed by all her friends and extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann’s name may be made to the North Okanagan Hospice Society at 3506 27th Avenue, Vernon BC V1T 1S4. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Whitevalley Community Center, 2250 Shields Lumby. A tea to follow.
