Ann was born on March 7th, 1927, in The Hague, Netherlands and was called Home to be with her Lord on April 5th, 2023, at the age of 96 years.
Ann will be lovingly remembered by four sons, John (Terri-Lynn), Rudy (Alison), Harold (Valori) and David (Shari); three daughters, Rita (Blake) Terriff, Tina (Richard) Warren and Caroline (Roy) Bouman; one daughter-in-law, Melanie; twenty grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 2004, to whom she was married for 56 years; one daughter, Margaretha in 2011; and one son, Terry in 2012.
While much could be said about Ann's church and community involvement, she is most admirably and affectionately remembered for being a devoted wife and mother. Ann was a woman who had a deep faith in, and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ, to whom and about whom she could be heard singing throughout the day, every day.
We, Ann's family would like to thank the East Hill Community Church for being a loving, supportive Christian family to her for over twenty years. We are also thankful to all the healthcare workers and staff at Polson Extended Care Centre for the wonderful, loving care you gave to our mother for almost three years.
Love you Mom. So glad you are finally home!
A private Graveside Service at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery will precede a Celebration of Ann's life which will be held at the East Hill Community Church, 3605-12th Street, on Friday, April 21st, 2023, at 1:30 P.M. with her son, Pastor David Bootsma officiating.
