If you're reading this, then you know I'm on my way to be with family and friends I haven't seen in quite some time and that makes me smile.

Ted has been waiting 31 years now for me to join him on the backyard deck overlooking our acreage with an ice cold Coca Cola in hand; I can see my favourite lawn chair and pink sun hat waiting for me! Feels good to be home.

I lived a beautiful 93 years, outlived 7 siblings and all my friends. I saw changes in the world too big to even dream.

My brilliant Bob; I hope you know you were always enough and you made me proud every day. Though the words often failed me, you were my world and I loved you more than life itself. And Karen, you were my daughter, my friend and champion and my safe place to fall. I carry your heart with me. Dad and I always knew Craig was your person to love and grow old with and for him, we will forever be grateful. Miles, never forget your lifeguard walks on water and now I'm up here just making sure you stay strong and remember the amazing young man you are.

Of all the wonders in my life, I will miss my Lane and Kallee, for making me feel like the most special person in your universe, taking the time to talk, laugh and sing with me and bring me treats! I will continue watching you grow into the most incredible beings from a very special seat above, cheering you on. I could not have loved you both more. I might even get one of those fancy tattoos you both love!

To all the others that knew me, I hope I made you laugh and your day a little brighter with my cheeky self, forever singing words to some old song! I'll leave you with some improvised lyrics, because that's what I do best!"
