Annie Caroline Severson (Anne) passed away peacefully in her home at the Hamlets in Vernon, BC on May 29, 2018 at the age of 99 years, just 6 days before her 100th birthday.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Garry (Consie) of Vernon, son Lorne (Gail, daughter Tricia) of Cloverdale, brother-in-law Fred "Whitey" Severson of Victoria, 5 grandchildren, Debra, Jodi (Brian), Sheona, Kimberley and Craig (Beverley), 2 great-grandchildren, Lauren & Michael and many extended family members and close friends. Anne was predeceased by her husband Arthur and grandson Randy.

She was born June 4, 1918 in Aldergrove, BC. Shortly after Anne and Art were married, they ran the Trading Post in Surrey, BC. They then entered the commercial fishing industry where they managed fish buying camps all along the West Coast of Vancouver Island. The family then moved to Victoria, BC, then on to Qualicum Beach before finally retiring to Vernon, BC.

Anne & Art enjoyed travelling across Canada & the USA, until Art's passing in 2007. Anne then moved to Heron Grove in Vernon, where she lived for 11 years. The family is grateful to the staff of The Hamlets in Vernon for their compassionate care of Anne over the last several months.

As per Anne's wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
