ARIKO MARY MORI passed away peacefully in the Alexander Wing of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Thursday, January 15th, 2004 at the age of 87 years. Ariko is survived by her loving family, one son Nobby (Karen) Mori of Vernon, four daughters, Sanae (Tetsuo) Fukushima of Toronto, ON, Mizue (David) Mori of New Westminster, BC, Nancy (Gary) Forsythe of Victoria, BC, Janet Mori (John) of Penticton, BC, five grandchildren, Gregory Forsythe of Salmon Arm, BC, Kristin (Ralph) Hamaguchi of Ladner, BC, Diane Fukushima of Toronto, ON, Kyle (Denise) Hamaguchi of Penticton, BC and Beaw Pearson, two great grandchildren, Rieko Bohmert of Ladner, BC, Kaiya Hamaguchi of Penticton, BC, two brothers, Sam Yamasaki of Vancouver, BC, Dan Yamasaki of Toronto, ON and one sister, Naruyo Mori of Japan, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ariko was predeceased by her loving husband Minori in 1986, her parents Aitoku (Ohama) Yamasaki and her mother Ai Yamasaki, two brothers, Yoshikazu Yamasaki, Miyoshi Yamasaki and two sisters, Narufumi Yamasaki and Yesko Sato. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21st, 2004 at 11:00 AM from the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Sheila Odney officiating. Interment will followi in the family plot at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. A reception will follow the graveside service in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.
