It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, Arlene Hansen at the age of 77 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Lorne (Ronnie), Brad, Darren and Denise (Jamie) and by her grandchildren: Noah, Braydon, Brett, Wyatt, Conner and Avery. She is also survived by her brother Craig (Connie) of Williams Lake, BC; her sister-in-law June Romano of Huntington Beach, California and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ed Hansen in 2011. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arlene’s memory to the North Okanagan Hospice Society (3506 - 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC). Our family would like to thank the staff at VJH Heritage Square and Hospice House for their wonderful and loving care of Arlene.
