Arthur Valentine Leier “Red”
A loving husband, companion, father, friend. He was full of life, engaged people, and never complained about the small stuff. He loved to make things; to make the best out of the worst; to accept adversity as a challenge and blessing, Red loved bridge, pool, people, nature, music and walking.
He lived his life making every moment and every phase of it a beauty, a love, a joy, so naturally his death was the ultimate peak of his whole life’s endeaver.
The last touches of his death were symbolic for his family; that it was not ugly, but a peaceful acceptance, a loving entry into the unknown, a joyful goodbye to old friends, to the old world. There was no tragedy in it. He left the world a little more happier, a little more beautiful, a little more fragrant. He will be missed and remembered.
