Arthur Reginald Robinson


Arthur Reginald “Reg” Robinson passed away peacefully in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Tuesday, August 1st, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Reg is survived by his loving wife Louise of 56 years, one daughter Phyllis “Phyl” (Donald) Byrne of Lavington, BC, one granddaughter, Dawn (Carman) Wilcox of Nokomis, SK, one great grandson Weston, one sister, Eileen (Archie) McCannel of Kelowna, sister-in-law, Dorothy Muir of Trail, BC, one brother-in-law, Barry Fraser of Halifax, NS, numerous loving nieces and nephews. Reg was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Helen Ferguson, and Beverley Fraser, three brothers, Alec, Cecil and Gerald. Reg was a veteran of the second world war, RCAF, served with the RAF in England, he was a sixty year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br # 11 Trail, BC, He loved sports, was an avid golfer, curler, ball player and skier. Following cremation a celebration of Reg’s life will be held on Saturday, August 12th, 2006 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Mrs. Sheila Odney officiating. A reception will follow in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room. In lieu of flowers those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Reg may do so to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation c/o 202- 3402 27th, Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 1S1.
