April 18, 1937 - July 26, 2019
Avril was born on April 18th, 1937 in Lybster, Scotland and passed away on July 26th, 2019 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 82 years.
Avril will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lisa (Bill); her son, Ryan; and her grandchildren, Cole, Saige and Roman; as well as by extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Kathleen (Miller) and David Davidson and her husband Ray.
Avril and Ray immigrated to Canada to raise their family and proudly became Canadian citizens in 1976. Avril was always busy volunteering as a hairdresser and with the Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed travelling with Ray and watching her grandchildren in all their sports.
Avril was cremated and at her request, there will be no service. Those who wish to do so, may send donations in memory of Avril to the Daughters of the Nile of B.C. or to a charity of your choice.
The family sincerely thanks all the staff at Hearthstone Manor for their care and support of Avril and her family.
