In Loving Memory ~
Our precious mother, Barbara Lee Sweet, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26th, 2021 at the Dulcina Hospice in Calgary, AB.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and both her parents.
Barbara is survived by her brother Skip; son Frank (Ella); daughters Lynda (Perry) and Patricia (Bryan); grandchildren Stephan, Shonna, Matthew and Bryana; great-grandchildren Rayah and Rilyn; and step-grandchildren Frankie-J and Kallum. Barbara was born in Belmont Township, ON.
After meeting the love of her life, Bob, they moved to Marmora and started raising their family. They lived in several other places over the years including 10 years in Fort McMurray, AB before finally retiring in Vernon, BC.
After 25 years there, Barb moved to Cochrane in September 2021. Barb, along with Bob, spent many happy hours camping, fishing, flying, skiing, golfing, socializing and square dancing.
Thank you to all of the staff on Unit 42 at the Foothills Hospital and the Dulcina Hospice for taking such wonderful care of our Mom.
