The family of Lynne Wilson is deeply saddened by her passing January 18, 2020 in Westlock Alberta. Lynne was predeceased by her father Peter Kossen, mother Barbara Kossen, and brother Peter. Left to lovingly remember and cherish her memory are: husband Jeff, daughters Sarah Greenfield (Neil) and Heather Wilson, brother Ron, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Lynne was a gentle person with a deep love for her family and friends and a genuine caring for her fellow workers at and patrons of the libraries in Coldstream and Vernon. Often she would deliver books after hours to patrons who were too ill to attended the library themselves. She continually made or purchased small items for others even working on a small gift as she declined in the hospital.
Proud and private, Lynne was determined not to let the Parkinson's Disease she endured control her life. She enjoyed what she could and spread warmth and happiness to others. The family would like to thank the staff at Pembina and Smithfield Lodges for their friendly, compassionate care. They created an atmosphere that allowed Lynne to feel it really was her home.
At Lynne's request, there will be no service.
Bright, warm and welcoming as Heaven may be, it will be more so upon Lynne's arrival.
