Bar passed away at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon with family by his side. Born in Vernon Bar spent almost all of his life here and took pride in working as a truck driver and playing in pipebands. Jan his high school sweetheart and Bar were married in 1954.
He enjoyed visiting with friends over a beer whether sitting on the patio at home or in the Army and Navy.
Bar is survived by 3 daughters Wendy (Dan), Donna (Ron), and Sherry, sister Lynn Duncan, 4 grandchildren Dave (Tamara), Kessa (Marc), Graham (Erin), Cris (Jessica) and his Great Grandchildren Kayla, Mattock, Isla, Micheal, Rowan, Natasha and Vaughn.
He was predeceased by his Wife Jan in 2020, Grandson Ewen in 2001 and Sister Maxine in 1945.
There will be a memorial for Bar starting at 1:00 pm on October 12, 2024 at the Vernon Army and Navy. Kilts and bagpipes are encouraged.
