September 29, 1921 – September 25, 2020
Bernice was born on September 29, 1921 in Beaverlodge, Alberta and died on September 25, 2020, days before her 99th birthday. She was loved by many and touched many lives.
Bernice is survived by her children, Heather and Doug, her grandchildren Mandy (Dustin), Ellie (Glenn), Haley, Lukas (Austin) of Vernon, and Alexis (Aaron) in Edmonton, great grandchildren, Bowenn in Vernon, and Hannah, Eden, and Luca in Edmonton.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ken Robb in 1988, three brothers Willis Jefcoat, Claude Jefcoat, and Ray Jefcoat, sisters Pauline Koski, Fay Borsa, May Morrison, and Fern Gault. She was the last surviving member of her Jefcoat family
Bernice loved music, dancing, cooking and baking, sewing, knitting, bowling, card games, family dinners at Intermezzo, volunteer work, and being a Boy Scout leader. She loved birds, dogs, and cats, especially her cat Mica. Bernice went deaf from the measles at seven years old, but that never stopped her from anything. She was amazing and always had a big smile for everyone.
Her family would like to thank her Heritage Square family for their love and support.
A small family gathering was held on her birthday, September 29 at Intermezzo. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family has chosen not to hold a public gathering at this time.
