Beryl Lundstrom

Beryl Lundstrom, of Kelowna, peacefully passed away February 24, 2009 at the age of 66, at the Central Okanagan Hospice House. Beryl was happily married to Gerry for 45 years, and was the loving mother to four daughters. After moving from Matsqui, BC, Beryl and Gerry farmed in Armstrong, then in 1986 moved to Kelowna. There she refreshed her nursing certificate then continued her career as a palliative care nurse at Cottonwoods. Beryl had a genuine passion for her work and for life. The true bond she made with her co-workers shone through especially during this past year. She is survived by her husband, Gerry, daughters Kristine (Al) Lidstone, Leah (Glenn) Chanter, Dana (Brian) Patjas, eight grandchildren, Allana, Karly, and Cassidy Lidstone, Chelsey, Whitney and Dylan Chanter, Justin and Brianna Patjas, and brother Larry (Lila) Grist. She is sadly predeceased by her daughter Charlene and her parents, Lionel and Joan Grist. The memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28th, at 1 pm at Springfield Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made directly to the Central Okanagan Hospice House on Ethel Street.
