September 16, 1946 - May 30, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Beverley Anne Out on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Bev lived most of her life in the Armstrong area where she was known for her cake making skills, photography and devotion to the St. Joseph Catholic Church where she worked as a secretary and volunteer with the St. Joseph's Catering Crew.
Bev believed in contributing to her larger community where she sat as a school trustee, but also to her smaller community of her family and friends where she would always help where help was needed whether it was a recipe, a ride to the store or a lending an ear on the phone. She spent many hours at her kitchen table on the phone connecting with her family and friends - we will miss her phone calls and the sharing of the news of Armstrong.
Bev was an amazing mother who loved to be involved with her children. As the boys were growing up, she would volunteer at the school, always attend their numerous sporting events and bring them meals to their worksites when they worked during the dinner hour. She always made sure everyone was well fed! When her sons grew up and had children, Bev became a devoted grandmother doting on and spoiling her grandchildren at every opportunity.
Bev was predeceased by her mom, dad, brother (Allan) and sister-in-law (Laura). She leaves behind her two sons, Bryan (Courtney) and Gary (Joanna); grandchildren Maya, Emmett, Hunter, Avery and Cooper; sister Joan (Robin) and brother Larry; nephews and nieces Lyle (Dara), Leroy (Charmaine), Sean and Michelle (Shawn); stepmom Jean Williamson, Aunt Helen, cousins Margaret and Trevor and many extended family.
A service was held at St. Joseph's Church on Wednesday, June 3rd and Bev has been interred at the Armstrong Cemetery.
