Bjorg (Andreassen) Colquhoun
August 26, 1926 – September 13, 2014
It is with sadness and relief we announce the passing of Bjorg after 15 years of living with Alzheimers. Bjorg was the example of the Lord’s love on earth, giving unconditional love to all, seeing the good in all and even though she had a stubborn streak gave of herself freely to the needs of others. Bjorg was born in Norway and immigrated to Canada as a toddler. She started in Manitoba, moving to BC’s Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast then on to Vancouver where she met and married a handsome man named Desmond and had 3 children Karen (Malcolm) Cameron (Sandra) and Kathleen (Ted), residing in Burnaby retiring to Sechelt with their final years in Vernon. She loved the Lord, her family, and jigsaw puzzles at Christmas. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren Amanda, Andrea, Caitlin, Meagan and Matthew all of whom she loved so much. She will be remembered with love by her remaining siblings Thor, Ruth, Ralph and family Betty, Elaine, Joy and Gloria, many nieces and nephews especially the Brindle Boys. Waiting for Bjorg is her beloved Des, brothers Kjell and Mark, family Wanda, Marit and John.
