Blake A. Tweddle was born on November 30th, 1934 in Chilliwack, B.C. and passed away on May 13th, 2018 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 83 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife; Loretta to whom he was married for 59 years, his daughters; Sheila Tweddle and Arlene (Larry) Peters, his sons; Bruce Tweddle and Kevin (Norma) Tweddle, his grandchildren; Karina (Daniel) Daniluck, Kirk Olsen, Kasey and Kevina Tweddle, his brother; Roger Tweddle along with extended family members and friends.
As a retired B.C. Hydro Production Supervisor (P. Eng.), Blake was proud of his UBC engineering past and loved to figure out how things worked. Blake was a passionate Radio Amateur and would fix just about anything. It was very normal to find Blake at home, tinkering on some new gadget or gizmo in his spare time - or out riding his bicycle!
His love for travel took him all over the world to various countries with family and friends. Some of his most memorable trips were to Mazatlan, Australia and Fiji.
In respecting Blake's wishes, he was cremated and no funeral service will be held.
