1920 – 2016
Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Blanche Campbell passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 26 at Heron Grove extended care at the age of 96. With grateful hearts, her family mourns the passing of a strong woman who leaves a legacy of hard work and dedication to family.
Blanche was born in Toronto and raised two sons there, Ronald and Philip, with her first husband Clifford Levesque. In a neighbourhood where few kids finished high school, Blanche was very proud that both her sons attained graduate degrees. She later married Donald Campbell and had many happy years in retirement with him, finally settling in Vernon in 1997 to join her family in western Canada.
Left to mourn her passing: sons Ronald & wife Penny; Philip & wife Barbara; grandchildren Lenise & husband Jeff, Lara & husband Elston, David & partner Kathleen, Lise & husband Tristan; and great grandchildren Jordan, Anya, Logan, and Madeline.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday August 2 at 4:00 pm at Bethel Funeral Chapel.
