Blanche Irene McLaren
was born on November 3rd, 1922 in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, the youngest of 24 children born to Malcolm and Margaret Beaton. Our mother left us to join our father on June 18th, 2014 at the age of 91 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by three daughters, Sheron Donaldson, Lore (Maitland) Smith and Cindy (Jerry) Brassard; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and her faithful companion, Phantom. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frederick McLaren on September 17th, 1982.
Blanche was a very warm, loving and devoted woman whose family meant everything to her and nothing was more important in her life than spending time with them. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing Blanche will deeply miss her and she will be loved forever.
In respecting Blanche’s wishes, she was cremated and no Funeral Service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Blanche to the C.N.I.B., #101-1456 St. Paul Street, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 2E6.
