With aching hearts we announce the sudden passing of our extremely loved Brad, at the age of 49 years on November 24, 2009.
Left to keep his memories alive are his spouse Gord Gorman, Barb, Gord’s mother and all of Gord’s family. Also Brad’s parents Louis & Susan Byman, sister Brenda (Tom), brothers; Ron (Michelle), Randy (Deanna), Ken (Dawn), 6 nephews, 6 nieces, 2 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces, a dear friend, Richard and many friends and relatives and
his cat Jessie.
Brad had such a love of life and was happy experiencing everything from baking his famous gingersnap cookies to rock climbing.
He was strong within himself and fought for what he believed in. Brad was fulfilled with his volunteer work at PWA starting many years ago in Toronto and later working at Polly Esther’s in Vancouver. In this he touched so many people in such a positive way.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Unity in Action on 1630 Edinburgh St., New Westminster. The Service will be held at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow on-site.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brad’s name to any local HIV/Aids agency or to Unity in Action.
If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane,
We’d walk right up to heaven
And embrace you once again
