July 19, 1942 - March 20, 2019
Brian Jones was called home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2019 at the age of 76.
He married his soulmate, Penny, in September 1964.
They bought 5 acres in Lavington with a 1 bedroom log cabin. He then built a unique log house for his growing family where many
fun times were had.
After the children moved out, Brian and Penny bought acreage
on Shuswap River Drive.
One of his favorite pastimes was working in his large shop while listening to country music. Brian looked forward to making coffee for his sweetheart each morning and him and Penny
would sit and talk and enjoy the beauty of their place.
Brian was a patient individual, full of wisdom and understanding with an immense love for his family. He was also very spiritual with appreciation for all beliefs.
He will be fondly remembered by his wife, Penny, sons Kirt, Troy (Cheryl), Trevor (Violet), and daughter Rachelle (Greg) Lowe as well as his grandchildren Sarah, Hanna, Parker, Coleman, and Ever. He leaves behind 2 brothers, Dan and Frank.
Brian loved to laugh and everyone who met him, loved him and will miss his dimpled smile.
The family invites you to celebrate his life on Saturday, April 13th at 2 pm at the Lumby Curling Rink.
