Bryan Murdoch Duggan, a resident of Lumby, passed away on February 6, 2003 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital at 73 years of age, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bryan worked for 19 years at the CPR in Kelowna and then took up dairy farming at Armstrong and later on at Lumby. Bryan is lovingly remembered by his wife Phyllis; daughter Jane (Wilf); son Patrick (Maryann); grandchildren, Jenna, Jarrod, Rylan, Evan and Jacki; brother Bill of Vernon and many relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at Zion United Church in Armstrong, with Rev. Lorraine Powell officiating. Interment in Lumby Cemetery preceded the service. Friends wishing to do so may make donations in memory of Bryan to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation, 2101-32 St. Vernon, B.C. V1T 5L2.
