November 22, 1935 - August 29, 2016

Carl passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, outside in his happy place where he was working in his garden on one of his many projects. With a warm breeze blowing, the sun on his cheeks and his feathered friends flitting about, he left us. Carl was born in Rheinland, Saskatchewan to a large Mennonite family, growing up with fourteen brothers and sisters. He and his late wife raised four sons: Dirk, Dean, Dennis and Kevin. Throughout the years he welcomed daughters-in-law, Cathy, Christine, and Valerie as well as grandchildren, Stacy (Shawn), Shawn, Karleigh, Kelton, Jennifer, Benjamin and Alison. Carl is survived by Sue, his loving wife of twenty years and her children Dawn (Greg) and Ken, and grandchildren Makinley, Madison, Aislinn and Emily. Carl’s big grin and generous hugs will be missed by them all. Carl and Sue enjoyed their retirement years sharing many happy times with family and friends. Carl was always dreaming about his next big project. Wherever Carl went, there was laughter and good fun.
