It is with sadness that we say farewell to Dad. He passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital with family at his side.
He was born in Hartland, New Brunswick. He moved to BC where he met his wife June. They were married in 1958.
Carle is survived by his wife June, daughter Cathy (Kris), and sons Tony (Geraldine) and Randy, his grandchildren Jasmine (Colin), Riley (Kayla), Jade, Sidney, Adrian, Riel, as well as great grandchildren June, Sebastian and Llewellyn.
Carle spent many years as a Boy Scout Leader, worked as a carpenter, and did countless hours of volunteering with the Band. He was known as 'Mr. Vernon Girls Trumpet Band'. He received the Order of Jopo (2006), as well as the Jessie Ferguson Memorial Trophy (1997), for his many years of Volunteer Service with the Vernon Winter Carnival.
There will not be a funeral.
