September 11, 1951 - November 18, 2018
With grief and sadness, we announce the passing of our dear sister, Carol Elizabeth Lattey, on November 18, 2018 at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.

Carol Elizabeth Rinaldi was born in Vancouver, BC on September 11, 1951.

She spent her formative years in North Vancouver and Prince George, BC.  As an adult, she lived in Vancouver, London (UK) and after settling in Vernon lived for a time in Long Beach, (CA). During her career, she held positions with the BC Forest Foundation, Expo '86 Project Development Group, The Loewen Group and the Worker's Compensation Board.

Carol was a voracious reader, an art enthusiast and loved to travel.  She especially enjoyed her trips to New York City with her girlfriends where they took in art galleries, museums and Off-Broadway plays. Carol took a strong interest in her nieces and nephews and never forgot a birthday, Christmas or graduation.

Carol is predeceased by her parents, Maureen Rinaldi (Caufield) and Joseph Peter Rinaldi.   She is survived by her husband, Steven Lattey; step-children Andrew McConnell and Gerda Lattey; siblings Peter Rinaldi, Janice Hume (Rinaldi) and Ken Hume, Susanne Johnson (Rinaldi) and Gregory Johnson; nieces Erin Thompson, Jasmine Rinaldi, Kathryn Hume; nephews Matthew Thompson and Brodie Rinaldi, as well as many cousins and friends.  Carol would also want us to mention her dog, Lola, who was her adored fur-baby.

She will live on forever in our hearts and memories.

A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held in Spring, 2019; details to be determined.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Carol's name to the Canadian Lupus Association at www.lupuscanada.org.
