Carol May Turner was born on February 7th, 1946 in Vernon, BC and passed away on October 14th, 2008 in Vernon, BC at 62 years of age. Carol will be remembered by her loving husband, Larry, her son; Michael Wylecko of Kelowna, BC, her daughters; Sherry (Paul) Clinaz of Vernon, BC and Terri (Eugene) McAreavy of Vernon, BC, her grandchildren; Baily McAreavy and Jessie Clinaz of Vernon, BC, two sisters; Gloria (Don) Williams of Vernon, BC and Julie (Ron) Sullivan of Prince George, BC, one brother; Aime (Mayo) Delvenne of Bear Lake, BC and one brother-in-law; Barry Nilsen of Bear Lake, BC. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Aime and Anne Delvenne, one sister; Sandra Delvenne and one nephew; Larry Corbett.
Cremation preceded a gathering of family and friends celebrating Carol’s life which will be held at the home of Sherry Clinaz (#6 4610 20th Street) on Saturday, October 18th, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Carol to the North Okanagan Hospice Society 3506-27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Mann and the staff at his clinic and to the nurses at Hospice House for the outstanding care and support provided during Carol’s illness.
