Charley Edwin Copeland, aged 84 years, passed away peacefully at his Mabel Lake home on Saturday, April 9, 2005. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by wife Marian of Enderby; three daughters Jade (Ed) Varchol of Enderby, Iris (Robert) Mourrel of Chilliwack and Mary (John) Corrigan of Delta; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Predeceased by son Joseph Edwin in 1972. Edd was born at Entwistle, Alberta, on November 10, 1920. He served a full term overseas during WWII. Edd lived at New Hazelton for twenty-six years before moving to the Enderby/Mabel Lake area in 1987. He worked for the Department of Highways, was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, enjoyed fishing and hunting. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Enderby. Reverend Ken Jones officiating. Cremation.
