It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Charlie Kohut, who suddenly passed away while walking his dog on March 15, 2017.

Charlie was born on August 9, 1979 in Pointe Claire, Quebec, moved to Newmarket, ON in 1984. After, graduation Charlie attended college in Barrie, ON and later in North Bay, ON where Charlie studied to be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. After, college Charlie was hired by Air Tindi in Yellowknife, NWT where he spent his career doing what he loved most, maintaining airplanes and training others in his field.

He leaves behind his soulmate Ashlie LeBlanc and their daughter Morgan, parents Judy and Al Kohut, brother Kris Kohut & his wife Lori and nephew Will. Grandpa Reeser and Marilyn and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

Visitation and a tribute for Charlie will be held at Assman’s Funeral Chapel, 1908 Queensway, Prince George, BC V2L 1M2. Visitation March 23, 2017 from 4 pm. Tribute will be March 24, 2017, 1 pm - 3 pm

Charlie’s words, “You can’t buy happiness but, you can buy a fishing pole, it’s pretty much the same thing.”
