It is with profound sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and dear friend, on Friday, September 18th, 2020 at the age of 74 years. Cheryl passed away in the North Okanagan Hospice after a brave battle with cancer, with her three children by her side.
Cheryl was a very generous, devoted, compassionate and loving woman. She was an extremely talented seamstress, an exquisite quilter, hand-stitching beautiful works of art. She was also an amazing cook, sharing her incredible meals with friends and family, and also provided a warm place to gather. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially for her sweet puppy Maggy. Cheryl had a unique and extremely funny sense of humour, and was giving, kind and admired by all who knew her.
Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Norman Klassen, her mother, Twila Klassen, her brother, Richard Klassen, and her niece, Twyla Klassen. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children, Tonya (Dave), Shonaugh (John) and Aaron (Jen); eight grandchildren, Krystanie, Paige, Ryan, Chantell, Christian, Nick, Sarah and Xander; her precious pup Maggy; and her many friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 protocols, a private family gathering is planned to celebrate Cheryl's life. It is with regret, that we are unable to hold a larger service for all who knew and loved her.
