Christine Lion passed away peacefully at Vernon Hospice House on Sunday, February 27, 2005. Aged 81 years. Christine was the beloved mother to Christa (Wayne) Lougheed of Enderby and Oma to Roxanne (Grant) Davyduke, Danielle (Doug) Botkin and Wayne Jr. (Renee) Lougheed; grandchildren Kirstyn and Kalvin Davyduke, Gavin Lougheed, Daniel and Chris Botkin all of Enderby. She will also be sadly missed by daughter-in-law Barbara Lion of Vancouver, sisters Wilma (Hans) Kuser of Germany, Maryanne (Hans) Kiwitt of Germany and Lore Sons of Toronto. Predeceased by husband Heribert and son Peter. Christine had lived in Enderby for 20 years then moved to Kelowna where she lived for the past 14 years returning to Enderby a few months ago. Christine had enjoyed her work as a Water Aerobics Instructor, she loved spending time with her family and friends, playing bridge, doing handiwork and traveling. A private family service will be held at a later date.
