To my family and friends
If you are reading this my time has passed and I've lived my dash. Please celebrate with me in the beauty and mystery of life. I want to thank my friends who have so enriched my days and filled them with belly laughs, hugs, and joy, especially those three musketeers. And to my husband Brad Hansen, my best friend who came along as a wonderful surprise in 2004, and who gave me years of happiness.
Survived by my dad, Doug Renwick, husband Brad Hansen, and sister Diane Richardson along with her husband Trevor and two nephews Jacob and Tyler.
During my high school years my ambition to become a dentist grew and I was thrilled to achieve this goal in 1994 after receiving a B.Sc in Physiology in 1988.
I first worked as a dentist in the pleasant prairie towns of Rosetown and Eston, Saskatchewan, prior to relocating to Lumby, BC in 1995.
I fell in love with the people and the setting and practiced in Lumby until 1998 when an opportunity to open my own practice came available in Vernon, BC.
Over the next eleven years I was able to provide dental care to a number of Vernon and area families while sporting a few mission trips, notably Russia and Honduras. Also, I was heavily involved in the provincial geriatric committee in an effort to improve dental care given to BC seniors.
In 2012 I transitioned into Community Dental Care and found great satisfaction in serving the people of the community.
I've been able to travel extensively from the BC backcountry wilderness to villas in Italy, sandy beaches in Cuba, to storm watching off the west coast of Vancouver Island. I would like to thank my mom, dad and husband Brad for being great travel partners with which I was able to visit China, Turkey, Italy, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and western Europe to name a few. All beautiful and amazing but nothing has satisfied my heart more than my relationship with Jesus Christ. He is truly the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father except through me". John 14:6.

A month has passed and my heart aches for your presence yet I know you are dancing up a storm with your heavenly hosts. I take great assurance in the knowledge you are in your eternal home and away from the troubles of this earthly world. Still, we miss you, and it hurts not to have you with us with your uplifting positive spirit. Bless you for being in our lives.
