October 11, 1932 - October 26, 2018
Clara Lucille Smith passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on October 26, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her 5 sons Ron, Mike, Ray, John, Steve and 2 daughters Linette and Tina, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her husband's Lyle, Charles and Jim.
Clara was an active, generous and loving soul who enjoyed volunteering and playing golf. She also loved to drive and would visit family and friends in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona and Vancouver Island many times a year. She made friends easily with her light spirit and buoyant nature.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on Clara's behalf to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (4 - 1551 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9).
Please join us on Wednesday, November 14th 2018 at 11:00 am for a memorial walk at Polson Park in Vernon in honour of Clara.
