RAUSER, Claus Dieter

July 18, 1958 ˆ April 8, 2003

It is with deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing of Claus due to a tragic accident in Russia. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his parents, Hugo and Anni Rauser of Armstrong, BC; brother, Tom Rauser of Gabriola, BC; his sister, Heidi Stockl and brother-in-law, Bill Stockl of Edmonton, AB. He will be dearly missed by his niece, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles as well as many, many close and dear friends. The family wishes to thank the many people who, through their support, compassion, and unselfish assistance, have made the burdens of this sorrowful time easier to bear. Claus is remembered as an exceptional friend, as well as a kind and caring man who unstintingly gave to anyone in need without hesitation. He was a carpenter by trade and his adventurous spirit led him to distant lands where he did what he loved most in life - building dreams. His generous spirit and excellent craftsmanship will long be remembered by the people he worked with in Russia and the far North. Funeral Service Monday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue with Pastor Neil Otke officiating. Cremation will follow in the Park Memorial Crematorium.
