Clifford Thomas (Cliff) Oughtred was born on July 6th, 1951 in Vancouver, B.C. and passed away in the North Okanagan Hospice on July 28th, 2017 at the age of 66 years.

His wife and soul mate, Margot; his mother, Runa; his son, Ryan; and his two grandchildren, Koa and Max will miss Cliff deeply. For extended family members and countless friends, he will be missed but not forgotten. Cliff’s wit, candour and insight, will hold lasting memories for his family and friends.

Cliff’s fellow Ski Coaches and Ski Club families will hold on to his dedication as a Coach and his knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport. West Bay Construction’s Custom Homes and Resort Projects throughout B.C. will remain his legacy and his purpose in building was to always create designs which were in harmony with their natural environment. On the golf course he believed it was the moments between the swings that define us all, the camaraderie – not the score. Cliff’s love for the Island of Kauai taught him to live life with Aloha.

In respecting Cliff’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be no service held. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Cliff to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506 - 27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S4.

Cremation arrangements were made with BETHEL FUNERAL CHAPEL LTD., 5605-27th Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 8Z5 • 250-542-1187
