Clint was born on September 18th, 1936 in Salmon Arm, B.C. and passed away peacefully on July 20th, 2021 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 84 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children; Vicki Nelson, Terry (Rob Dahlman) Spooner and Doug (Sheryl) Nelson, his grandchildren; Keri-Lynn (Dan) Parkinson, Vanessa Hyson, Chad (Melissa Wagner) Bryce and Kelsie Spooner, his great-grandchildren; Aaliyah, Tanner and Brandi Parkinson, Silas and Oakley Bryce along with extended family members and friends.
Clint was predeceased by his wife; Marolyn Nelson, his parents; Lars and Lillie Nelson and by his brother; Phil Nelson.
Clint was an avid outdoorsman who loved fly fishing, tying flys, camping, canoeing and x-country skiing. When he wasn't outdoors you could find him working on his genealogy which he loved to do. Clint worked for the B.C. Forest Service for 35 years.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Waldron and the staff at Heron Grove for the wonderful care you provided for Clint.
In respecting Clint's wishes, he was cremated and no funeral service will be held.
