It was with sad hearts and wonderful memories that the family announces the passing of Colleen Fay Jones after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Colleen was a friend to all who knew her. She was generous in spirit and quick witted. Always ready with a story and a laugh. She was loved by friends and family in unaccountable ways and touched the lives of many.
After receiving extensive training in forestry and ecology she formed her own company to focus on environmental impact studies. She was very successful on her own, as well as working with other companies in the same field.
Colleen lived an adventurous life and travelled widely experiencing life to its fullest.
Colleen will be lovingly missed by her parents Ray and Fay Jones, sisters Kathy (Irv) Duncan, Karen (Blaine) Maisonneuve, brother Ken(Valerie) Jones, nieces and nephews Kailyn and Mitchell Maisonneuve, Evan and Bethany Jones and the many, many friends who blessed who her life with their friendships.
