Dale Edwin Kauffman passed away suddenly in Salmon Arm, BC on Friday, January 29, 2010 at the age of 56 years.
A Celebration of life reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 2016 Miller Street, Lumby, BC on Saturday afternoon, February 6th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. At 3 p.m. guests will be invited to speak and share their memories of Dale at an open mike.
Born in Vancouver, BC on January 4, 1954, Dale was raised in the lower Mainland; he has resided in the Okanagan – Vernon areas for the past 30 years, having lived in Lumby since August of 2004. He was a mechanic all his life, taking a keen interest in orchards since 1990. Dale was always available to assist others whenever someone needed him.
Predeceased by his father, Edwin Kauffman, in 1974; Dale is survived by his loving family; wife, Debbie; two sons, Mike and Matt; mother, Marjorie Haugen of Langley, sister, Marlene (Robert) Campbell of Surrey; brother, Lyle (Janet) Kauffman of Langley; Uncle Mike (Gayle) Parr of Langley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
