Craig McArthur, died suddenly at home in Lillooet,
on January 10, 2007 at age 54. Born August 25, 1952 in Kamloops, he was schooled in Princeton, Tofino, Hope, North Vancouver, and New Caledonia College at Prince George. Most of his working life was with the Ministry of Forests (1972-2006) at Quesnel, Tatla Lake, Bella Coola, Lillooet, and was at Fort Nelson just prior to his death.
He is survived by his parents, Sue & Ted
McArthur of Vernon, son Rory of Surrey, brother to Robin of Hope, Diane of Salmon Arm, Ruth of Williams Lake, Kim of Golden, and Stuart of Prince George, and favored Uncle to 11 nieces and nephews. He was an avid outdoors person who loved to camp, ski, and hike in his favorite mountains. Also an ardent club curler and was widely known for his spirit in the game. Favored pastime was jamming with band friends at home. Following cremation, a Celebration of his Life was held at the Friendship Center in Lillooet, officiated by his siblings. Dalton would be honored that any memorial donations be directed to the B.C. Children’s Hospital and or Ducks unlimited.
