As a result of an accident late Friday evening, May 7th, 2004, DANIEL GORDON HOLLAMBY, late of Australia, more recently of Vernon, fell asleep in Christ. Daniel was born May 20th, 1982 and was the much loved younger son of Colin and Chris (nee Bartholomew) Hollamby of Waikerie, South Australia. Daniel is much grieved over by his fiancee Alycia Goltz of Vernon. He is greatly missed by his siblings: Carmel (Nick) Baker of Waikerie, South Australia and their six children: Thomas, Benjamin, Peter, Carrie, Emily, and David; Kym (Dan) Cadieux of Toronto, and their four children: Jonathan, Luke, Stephen, and Lauren; Miriam (Bradley) Wilton of Adelaide, South Australia and their two children: Jamin and Monique; and Michael (Rebekkah) of Waikerie, South Australia. He is survived by his grandfather Bart Bartholomew and his great aunt Kay Bartholomew, 13 aunts and uncles, 20 cousins and numerous second cousins both here and in Australia. As a member of the Christadelphian community his falling asleep will be greatly mourned by those who knew the family. He keenly anticipated the establishment of the Kingdom of God with Jesus Christ as King/Priest reigning in Jerusalem over all the earth at peace. He now awaits the sure and certain hope of bodily resurrection to appear before his Judge and to receive the just reward of his works; for the Judge of all the earth shall do right. Funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Thursday, May 13th, at 11:00 am., God willing. Interment will take place in Australia. Arrangements are in the care of VERNON FUNERAL HOME 250-542-0155.
