October 26, 1921 - March 15, 2019
Daphne Lorna Barber (nee Kelsey) passed away March 15th, 2019 as a result of an accident. Born October 26, 1921 to Percy and Edith Kelsey in London, England.
She is survived by her children; Carol Ann (Jim), Norman, Stephen, Julie (Randy) and Joanne (Paul), grandchildren; Maria, Christopher, Carly, Davison, Pierce, Lauren, Tamara, Alexis and Miles, great grandchildren; Kinsley Chase, Julian, Lane and Alastair with extended family thoughout Europe, Africa and Australia. Daphne is predeceased by her husband Herbert in 1986.
Daphne educated in London joined the British Army in WW2 and was a fire warden during the bombing of London. She came to Canada after the war and settled in Williams Lake then slowly worked down the province and ending up in Mission four years ago.
An extremely talented lady still working with various charity groups. Lover of books, jokes and a glass of white wine with dinner. We salute you!!!!!
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
