January 5, 1926 - June 18, 2018
Darlene Maxine Lewis was born on January 5, 1926 in Nebraska and passed away peacefully in Vernon on the morning of June 18, 2018 at the age of 92 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: David (Jodene), and Ron (Rhonda); her daughter, Wanda (Ron) and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Darlene was predeceased by her husband, Lyle; her parents, Irvin and Leah; and by her brother, Leroy Gibbins.
The family is grateful to Dr. Pritchett, the medical staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital and the Sunshine Valley Unit of Polson Residential Care for their compassionate care of Darlene over the last six months.
A funeral service will be held for Darlene on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 am, with visitation at 10:00 am. Mom will be laid to rest immediately following the service. A luncheon reception will follow in the Tea Room of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Auxiliary where Mom enjoyed volunteering over a thousand hours.
