Daryl Bruce Wheeler passed away peacefully on December 22nd, 2008 with his family at his side.
He will be remembered with love by his family: his loving wife, Vivian, of 35 years; his son, Edgar (Gloria Juhasz) Wheeler of Kelowna; his daughter, Janet (Graham Watson) Wheeler of Penticton, one granddaughter, Brooke: two sisters, Carol (Doug) Large of Grand Forks and Gwen (Ken) Schnieder of Grand Forks; two brothers, Gary (Diane) Wheeler of 100 Mile House and Doug Wheeler of Penticton; aunts and uncles: Dolly Wheeler, Bill (Mamie) Markin, Eileen MacMillan, George (Annie) Agar, Shirley (Jerry) Worden and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Daryl was predeceased by his father, Leonard John Wheeler in 2005, his mother, Mary Helen Wheeler (nee: Popoff) in 1988 and his sister, Diane Van De Mortel (nee: Wheeler) in 1998.
The Funeral was held in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. Interment in Pleasant Valley Cemetery will follow the service, after which family and friends are invited to gather for a reception in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.
In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Daryl may do so to their charity of choice.
