David Alvin “Al” Wilson
Al passed away January 15th, 2007, just before his 91st birthday. Al was pre-deceased by the love of his life, Trudy, in 2002 and all his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving son, Warren and his daughter-in-law, Kathleen; his grandson, Christopher and wife Anne and numerous nieces and nephews.
Al was born in Vernon in 1916. He worked in the fruit packing industry until his retirement at the age of 72. The majority of his working years were spent at Dolph Brown’s Packing House and the Vernon Fruit Union. He remained in his beloved Vernon until 2003, when he went to live with Warren and Kathleen in Kamloops.
Al was a quiet, caring man with a wry sense of humour. He loved his books and the companionship of a good dog. He will be missed.
No service by request. Al will join Trudy in Vernon.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Justin Clark of Personal Alternative Funeral Services
