Dad was called home to be with his lord on September 29th, 2021 at the young age of 97 years. He will be deeply and forever missed by his family: Son Glen (Michelle), Daughters Heather Brar, Gail, Colleen Oner and Patricia (Patrick) Burroughs, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Dad was predeceased by Betty, his beloved wife of 55 years, his grand-daughter Jenny and his sons-in-law, Gary and Harjinder.
Dad worked in forestry from 1948 until his retirement in 1987 to spend time with his family.
Dad loved sharing his life stories. He had a passion for music, an amazing memory, but above all, Dad loved his family and we knew it. Neighbors around him have shared with us that dad was sweet and always had a smile on his face.
Dad's Celebration of life was held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
