In Loving Memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of David Mark Horochuk (54).
David was raised by the loving Late Peter and Lena Horochuk. He had two of the best parents he could ask for, and he loved them deeply for it. But the helping hand that his Aunty Helen (86) had given him throughout his life cannot go unrecognized.
Dave was raised on his parent's orchard, here in Vernon B.C. He grew up with and is survived by his two sisters, Leanne and Tanya, who he no doubt drove crazy for most of his life.
Dave was married with children in his younger years. He is survived by his son, Jesse Horochuk (29) and his daughter Jayden Horochuk (26). He was also blessed with two little granddaughters (Mia & Zoé); thanks to Jesse and his wife Marjorie.
Although Dave's lifestyle took him away from his kids at times, he loved them more than they knew. We know that his heart is with them in these sad times.
Although Dave strayed to Alberta for some years, he always returned home to Vernon. He happily spent his recent years here with Bonnie Zubot by his side, and was able to connect with their daughter Janessa Zubot (29).
"If you knew our Dad, you knew that he was a fun-loving character who spent his life both working hard, and playing hard. He lived a life that was a little rough around the edges, but his heart was always in the right place. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Love ya, Dad."
David's service will be held at a later date in the spring. Family will release details closer to.
