Dennis David Gates

We are heartfelt and saddened to announce the passing of Dennis David Gates on Monday, Oct 29th 2018 at age 73. Cremation followed Dennis' death. Dennis leaves to mourn his longtime partner of 20 years Donna. Also, stepson Trevor (Jen Ebony) Granddaughter Taeylor, Coralee, Virginia. Grandsons Rain, Skylar, Auston and daughter-in-law Rita. He is survived by Uncle Bill, Aunt Fran and Aunt Ester. Nephew and cousin and many longtime friends. Dennis was predeceased by his son Dennis and his stepson Jason. Also, his mother Lucy, father Howard, brother Jackson, and sister Wendy.

Dennis was born and raised in Llyodminster Saskatchewan. He was a very avid curler. And a very competitive hockey player when in Fort McMurrey. He also loved golfing and baseball. He sure did love his "Blue Jay" team.

Dennis career for many years as an expert floor layer.

Dennis will be sadly missed by Donna and all family and friends of which he had many.

A celebration of Dennis life will be held on Saturday, November 10 2018 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Eagles Hall. 5101 25th Ave, Vernon BC.
