It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Don Henry, a long time Coldstream resident.
Don was predeceased by his Parents Gladys and Blain Henry; all his siblings Edward, George, Herb, Gwen and Sandy.
Don is survived by his Loving Wife of 66 years, Shirley (nee Advent); his Son Ken; Daughters Barb (Kevin), Nancy (Robert); Granddaughter Tara (Tyson); Grandson Cam Henry, along with multiple much loved Nieces and Nephews.
Don worked at the Coldstream Municipality for 25 years and Volunteered at the Coldstream Fire Hall for 20 years. He loved serving his community in which he lived, worked and farmed.
In his spare time while working at the municipality he honed his farming skills and developed Diamond H Feedlot.
After retirement this turned into another full time job. He developed many relationships with neighbors and colleagues that became lasting and endearing friendships. Don was loved by many, he was always willing to lend a hand. He almost always had a smile and a great sense of humour.
Don spent the last 4 1/2 years residing in Polson Extended, where he received exceptional care! Don, Shirley and all the Family are so very thankful to all the staff and caregivers of the Sunshine wing! Many special thanks to Dr. Peter Henley for supporting Don, Shirley and Family over the years.
Don will be greatly missed by many and all.

Following cremation, there will not be a service due to COVID. A service will be held at later date.
